SUMMARY:

The IT Business Systems Analyst role is a mid to senior level position in Tillys IT department. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to lead and clearly document requirements and processes. Creating diagrams, tables and flow charts to help support understanding
Analyzes and outlines requirements in support of the business area's project activities.
Independently initiates, investigates, documents, and analyzes stakeholder requirements in project areas.
Communicate clearly and effectively to diverse audiences of technical and non-technical personnel, orally and in writing, using correct English and terminology
Document current and future state business processes and identify the operational and technical gaps within that process or infrastructure.
Create training materials, "How Tos," and knowledge items to ease user adoption of new technology
Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with all levels of the business, including consultants, vendors, contractors and others encountered in the course of work.
Ability to work with technical teams developers, architects, engineers, and software vendors to document and implement system changes
Assists with ad hoc projects as they arise, either independently or in collaboration with other team members

Proficient in the use of Excel and MS Word.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration; or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of full life cycle business analysis experience including working independently on large, complex projects that deliver or enhance production software systems.
Exposure to Project Life Cycle Management and/or Systems Development Life Cycle
Experience in eCommerce, retail, distribution center, omni-channel systems, preferred
Business acumen to work across functional business operation stakeholders

Annual Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000 - Offer placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, including prior relevant experience, skill set, and qualifications.
