What we are looking for
Rwazi is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to join our team at an exciting time of growth. As a Director of Marketing for demand generation, you will be responsible for driving pipeline and revenue growth by developing and executing multi- channel integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads and the sales pipeline. You will work closely with the founding team and be responsible for defining our full-funnel demand generation strategy, identifying ways to improve conversion, engagement, and retention metrics, and building customer personas and journeys. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about marketing, has a proven track record of contributing about 25-30% to the sales pipeline that focuses on new customers, and meets the common KPIs for this role.
What does the job involve
Lead Rwazis marketing efforts, focusing on full-funnel demand generation
Develop and execute multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads and the sales pipeline
Develop customer personas and customer journeys
Create engaging and effective content to build brand awareness and drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
Conduct A/B test campaigns, experiment, and identify tactics to improve conversion
Continually monitor, analyze, and report campaign success to senior leadership
Define messaging and implement go-to-market planning of new products and service
Partner and ensure operational alignment with product and sales to develop and implement marketing strategies for overall business and account-specific marketing campaigns
Own relationships with external advertising, PR, and marketing agencies
Common KPIs for this role:
Increase website traffic and conversions
Increase the number of leads and the conversion rate of leads to opportunities
Increase the number of new customers and revenue generated from new customers
Improve the ROI of marketing spend
Improve customer acquisition cost (CAC) and customer lifetime value (CLTV)
Qualifications
Must-haves:
Minimum of 5 years of experience and maximum of 10 years
Proven track record of contributing about 25-30% to the sales pipeline that focuses on new customers
Previous experience at high-growth, fast-paced B2B SaaS seed-stage startups
Prior experience in B2B SaaS
Experience working with remote teams
Expert in inbound and outbound marketing tactics, digital marketing channels and tools, and content creation
Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights
Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products and services
Familiarity with HubSpot
Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization
Strong persuasive oral and written communication skills, with the ability to get buy-in and resources from leadership and cross-functionally
Collaborative, highly motivated, organized team player with strong project management skills

Nice-to-haves:
Prior experience in B2B Data Analytics companies
Experience owning relationships with external advertising, PR, and marketing agencies
