Ready for a challenge that will keep you on the cutting edge of DevSecOps/ DevOps? We work on top level software solutions for national defense programs and is hiring TS/SCI cleared Software Engineers with a focus on research, innovation and solving mission critical challenges.

Overview:

The Engineer position will directly support the Enterprise Ground Service (EGS) SATOPS, Prototyping, and Integration (SPI) program & Platform Services. It's goal is to deploy a universal command and control architecture aimed at eliminating restrictions by continuously delivering enterprise tactical command and control services and applications to fully enable todays modern warfighter.

This role will align under the EGS Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Operations Support team and will focus on developing and implementing CI/CD methodologies for multiple teams across the enterprise. The Engineer must have a good grasp of modern software development practices and how they fit in with building a robust DevSecOps pipeline. This position requires a background in software or infrastructure development in cloud and local environments.

The successful candidate will have experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and the toolchains which comprise them. Applicants should be familiar with common DevSecOps orchestration technologies spanning multiple Operating Systems.

Position Description:
Ability to manage CI/CD tools within a team of developers.

Develop and communicate principles, policies, standards, guidelines and best practices for CI/CD operations.

Provide technical guidance and implementation support to multiple developer teams in multiple environments working to establish, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.

Train and support developers in the use of source control, build automation, continuous integration, test automation, and deployment automation.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting the development, integration, test, operations, and sustainment activities.

Employ the latest technologies to support CI/CD in virtualized and/or cloud environments.

Ability to troubleshoot and make recommendations on infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Ability to design and document processes and CI/CD best practices for use across the Enterprise.

Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI (SSBI) security clearance.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

5+ relevant years of experience in software engineering.

Experience working in private cloud infrastructure or enterprise virtualization platforms. Examples include AWS, Azure, VMWare Cloud Foundation, OpenStack, etc.

Experience using version control tools (git preferred).

Experience using automation tools such as Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Gradle. (to deploy and maintain complex environments like IaC (Infrastructure as code) and PaC (Platform as code).

Desired:
Experience using Jenkins to develop CI/CD pipelines for automation.

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk and Elk Stack.

OpenShift, Rancher, GKS, AWS EKS, etc.

Direct hands-on experience with common container orchestration technologies Kubernetes.

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk and Elk Stack.

Active and direct experience with securing systems to DoD standards via automation.

Experience with industry standard patch maintenance systems such as Satellite and WSUS.

Knowledgeable of multiple infrastructure configurations: including AWS GovCloud, VSphere, and OpenStack, including on-premises configurations.

Strong understanding of Satellite Ground Systems Engineering, Development, Integration and Test, or Operations Engineering fields.

Demonstrated experience with Satellite Command and Control, Scheduling and Optimization, Flight Dynamics, and/or Space Vehicle Simulation.

Demonstrated experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, C++, Java, C#, .Net. #CJ
