Boost Talent are representing a specialist software and cloud consultancy delivering large-scale transformation and secure platform projects across the National Security and Defence sectors. Their teams partner directly with government organisations to enable cloud adoption, automation, and modern engineering delivery helping to shape systems that protect and strengthen the UK.
Locations: London, Cheltenham, or Manchester (3 days per week on site)
Clearance: Must have Active DV (used within the last 18 months)
Salary: Up to £95K base + benefits + bonus
The Role
Youll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team delivering secure, automated AWS platforms at national scale. Expect variety from cloud infrastructure design and build through to CI/CD pipeline optimisation and DevSecOps enablement all within highly secure environments where precision and trust are essential.

AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, modern automation tooling
What Youll Do
Design and implement secure, scalable AWS cloud platforms.
Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to deliver repeatable, automated solutions.
Build, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments.
Collaborate closely with software, data, and security engineers on end-to-end delivery.
Contribute to internal R&D projects and innovation between client engagements.
Who You Are
2+ years commercial experience in DevOps or platform engineering.
Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Confident working with automation, CI/CD, and cloud security best practices.
Hold active DV clearance (used within the last 18 months).
Curious, reliable, and motivated by meaningful, mission-driven work.
