DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer for a Global Insurance client in BGC.

This role follows a hybrid setup with a night shift schedule and pays up to 230K PHP monthly.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will automate build, infrastructure, and software configuration management tasks and build out our continuous integration platform across several software products. This role will work closely with Architecture, Software Development, and IT Operations groups in the domain of Artificial Intelligence to ensure that teams are empowered, software is deployed quickly, and deployments are up to organizational standards. This position reports to the Global Architecture and Communities of Practice (Architecture & CoP) Leader.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 8 years of Information Technology experience
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps/SCM engineer, or in a position with similar skill sets and responsibilities
- Experience building .NET applications using build tools like Team City, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and MSBuild.
- Experience deploying applications in a CD fashion (Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Experience using a scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or similar
- Strong knowledge of n-tier web applications.
- Knowledge of Desired State Configuration technologies such as DSC, Puppet, Chef, SCCM/SMS
- Familiarity with change management systems and processes
- Familiarity with principles of continuous integration and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience with Azure supporting IaaS and PaaS software implementations
- Experience with Cloud Native applications (Kubernetes, Docker)

Microsoft Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator
- Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert
