Job Description

The client is looking to build out his engineering team within the DACI Organization(Data, Analytics, and Customer Insights). This team supports everything within Lowes from a Data perspective. They pretty much build out data products and solutions for everything Lowes related. An example would be within the Supply Chain. They are building and integrating data related projects all over the entire enterprise. They have tons of requests coming in and need help delivering these to the business.

5 years of progressive, post-bachelors experience in Data Engineering/Management, or Analytics.

Experience with using build tools including one or more of the following: Ant, Maven, Gradle.

Strong experience with using IDEs and Software developers.

Experience acting as a Data Engineer (Hadoop, Scala, Java,)

Experience or an interest to work in a Cloud environment

Ability to work with the business and IT teams to build out Data related projects

Experience building out scalable models for production

Experience writing distrusted code across a parallel environment.
