The primary responsibilities of a Senior Business Consultant at SimplifyA involve demonstrating expertise in key functional areas, particularly in the context of CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine). The consultant should possess a comprehensive understanding of financials, cost accounting, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), planning and scheduling, project management, process modeling, and system implementation methodology. The role primarily focuses on providing billable business consulting and training services to customers who utilize the CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) system. Additionally, depending on their skill set, the consultant may offer other consulting services that may extend beyond CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine, such as business process re-engineering.

Key Requirements and Competencies:

Functional Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in relevant functional areas including financials, cost accounting, MRP, planning and scheduling, project management, process modeling, and system implementation methodology.
CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) Expertise: Possess hands-on experience and expertise in providing consulting services specifically for CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine). This includes a deep understanding of the product's features, functionalities, and best practices in discrete manufacturing consulting.
Customer Support: Provide billable business consulting and training services to customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they derive maximum value from the CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) system.
Additional Consulting Services: Depending on the consultant's skill set, offer other consulting services beyond CloudSuite Industrial/SyteLine, such as business process re-engineering. This requires adaptability and the ability to apply expertise to various client requirements.
Adherence to Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry best practices in the areas of financials, cost accounting, MRP, planning and scheduling, project management, process modeling, and system implementation methodology.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and changes to CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) to provide cutting-edge and relevant consulting services.
Effective Communication: Communicate complex concepts and solutions effectively to clients, ensuring a clear understanding of recommendations and best practices.

Requirements:

Educational Background:
Bachelors degree or masters degree in an analytical field such as MIS (Management Information Systems), math, operations research, engineering, logistics, or science.

Professional Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience with the SyteLine product, demonstrating analytical skills in a manufacturing and distribution environment.

Client Industries Experience:
5+ years of experience in client industries that Infor serves, with a focus on areas related to forecasting, scheduling, planning, logistics, and manufacturing.

Certification:
APICS Certified (CPIM) is recommended. This certification is a plus and indicates a strong foundation in production and inventory management.

Specialized Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of finite scheduling, simulation, or solver-based optimization is required. This expertise is crucial for effectively addressing complex manufacturing and distribution challenges.
