Strong UX Designer Profile

Mandatory (Experience 1) - Minimum 7+ YOE in UX / Product Design

Mandatory (Experience 2) - Must be in a Lead or above in current role

Mandatory (Portfolio) - Must have strong portfolio of UX Design works

Mandatory (Company) - B2B Product Company OR Top / Well Known / Well Funded Product Company

Preferred (Education) - Design degree (No Diploma / Certifications) (Preferably from Top tier institutes like NID, NIFT)

Role & Responsibilities:
As the Product Design Lead at Freight Tiger, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity & user experience of our products.
You will lead a team of passionate designers, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive the design process from concept to execution.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong design background, exceptional leadership skills, & a proven track record of delivering successful products

Design Leadership:

Lead the vision of the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Set & maintain high standards for design quality and user experience across all products.
Collaborate with teams to understand business goals & translate them into compelling design solutions.

Design Strategy:

Develop & articulate a clear design strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
Conduct regular user research to understand their pain points and be the voice of the user.
Drive Design thinking mindset across the organization with workshops along with PMs, engineers, & stakeholders to ensure solutions meet user needs and business goals.

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, providing guidance on projects and career development.
Conduct design reviews, provide constructive feedback & promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Project Management:

Oversee the end-to-end design process, from ideation to final implementation.
Ensure timely delivery of design assets and alignment with project timelines.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively.

Ideal Candidate:

Bachelor's degree in Design, UX/UI, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
8 + years of experience within Product Design in B2B companies.
Proven experience as a design lead or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful product designs.
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.
Technically strong in design systems, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
