Associate Copywriter
Job Description
A digital marketing agency helping scale D2C brands is looking to hire a creative copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, websites, blog posts, newsletters, etc.
The ideal candidate must be a skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail and has a bent of mind towards short format content writing to engage targeted audience.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively interpreting copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
- Researching and understanding client's needs and target audiences through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts and in-person meetings
- Conceptualizing and writing creative video, carousel, banner ads, blog posts, newsletters, etc.
- Creating website UI, A+ content for Amazon as well as brand language and design with high-quality product descriptions and supporting content
- Writing, editing and proofreading high- engagement content that reflects the brand's voice for web, advertising, social, video and online platforms
- Producing compelling SEO friendly content and creating ad copy, landing pages and marketing campaigns
- Producing error-free content that adheres to the brand style guide to ensure high editorial standards
- Collaborating with creative, design and marketing team to build small to large scale marketing projects and campaigns
- Proposing persuasive concepts and presenting underlying strategic thinking to business leaders from inception to deployment of projects
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in English Literature, Journalism, Advertising or Copywriting
- 2 + years of proven experience in content writing and marketing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience of working with D2C or consumer brands
- Experience with SEO copywriting best practices
- Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with an eye for detail, language, flow and grammar
- Strong creative thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This would be a remote role as per Indian shift timings.
Immediate joiners/ Notice period of less than a month are preferred
