Seeking a good position in a good company with supportive environment to share knowledge

I have 11.7 years of experience as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in India, recently moved to United States in 2022 and in job market from 2023. In India, when I was working in the college I had a chance to work for an Industrial project, I was very much impressed and interested to work in IT Industry. And I'm naturally fascinated towards data analytics to make informed decision making. So, I tried to put myself in mastering and learning Data Analytics. Completed Data Science and Analytics Bootcamp from UC Berkeley Extension in 2024. Then started applying for jobs. No luck until now. To be honest, I am totally frustrated and I've never been in job hunt in my life. Many a times, it made me to re think is this a big mistake to switch career. I am not expecting jobs from big tech companies(FAANG). But i would love to work for Apple, that's my dream. I'll achieve that one day very soon. I know I am new to this industry. I am just looking for junior level positions so that I can also apply my skills and learn more in this field of interest. But nothing fruitful. In all junior level positions, companies are expecting 2-5 years of experience. Only if a chance is given I'll gain some experience. Without that it's difficult to get through job interviews. I am just roaming like a headless chicken in this job market. Mentally and emotionally it's disrupting. I am in a mode to gain experience in good company with a supportive environment to share knowledge and learn. Looking for proper mentor to guide me through.
