AI has the potential to transform healthcare and is particularly needed at this time when health services are under increasing pressure. However, it is still new and untested and it is difficult to understand how any given product is likely to work in practice.

Metalynx bridges the gap between AI vendors and clinical users to allow an AI system to be properly analysed and give clinicians the confidence they need to know it will work at their local site and for their patients.

Technically, we develop software that a non-technical clinical manager can use to evaluate the performance, fairness, robustness and explainability of healthcare AI products on the market, allowing hospitals to validate performance and compare different products before procurement, ensuring the best clinical benefit.

We are a venture-backed pre-seed startup working on pilots with NHS trusts and industry collaborators.
