Where Do I start?

Hello, I am a graduate that has been unemployed for the past year since October when I was furloughed officially. Since then, I have been trying to get back into the industry such as my small experience with Cognixia from February to March of 2023 before being let off due to a budget freeze. I have been predominantly busy on LinkedIn and trying to make myself public or noticeable to recruiters but so far nobody has approached me or I have done any interviews. What am I doing wrong? Is the industry right now very harsh or rough that it's hard to find a job?
