Wanted to go into data analytics

I have the required skillset and experience of 8 months. But I can't get an offer. Is it because I am expecting a high ctc? I had a ctc of 13.1 lpa and expecting around 15 lpa. Should I settle for less? Also, should I start by finding an internship or a job? Since in my previous job, I did not get much experience as I was on bench for long.
