Opening position Difficulty

I have over 100 applications out with just 2 responses for data or business analyst positions. I just recieved my certification in December. I have no degree or experience other than the experience my class has provided. I'm sure I'm in the lower percentile of being chosen for an interview. I left my previous employment to start a career in this new field and search for a position full time. How can I improve my chances of getting my foot in the door?

You might want to target internship or junior positions for now, in order to obtain experience. Will that work for you?

Many of my applications are for junior positions. I'll keep putting those in.

I'd suggest doing a pet project in your area that you could then list on your CV as a proof of experience. You could also gain more practice by doing freelance projects for a low fee on sites like Upwork. Once you have 2-3 completed projects that you could list on your CV it will be much easier to find a permanent job. Hope this helps.
