Supply Chain Analyst

After completing my undergraduate, I started working with a small beverage manufacturing industry in my hometown back in India. When I could improve customer service, reduce the cost and make the business run efficiently at that time when I realized that I am really good at making things better and solving problems that is why I chose to pursue my masters in Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University. In the past two years, I got an opportunity to work on amazing projects in the field of forecasting in Python, making MS Access application system to consult IT outsourcing contracts strategies, reducing lead time by 10.7% for CT scan at WakeMed Healthcare with lean six sigma. In summer I was fortunate to work with ASB Graphics where I conducted time studies, lean six sigma, and made an Excel-based production planning mechanism that improved production by 32%. Later working with Wetland Plants gave me the unique experience of automating temperature monitoring and implementing IoT.
Currently, I am working as a Supply Chain Consultant at NC State and researching PPE supply chain disruptions due to COVID 19. I achieved a supply chain management specialization by Rutgers University where I worked with project for Medical Technology Corporation to increase its revenue by 5.7% through logistics and strategic sourcing policy optimization, inventory reduction, and performing make versus buy analysis.
