Summary
Designed a new Video Ingestion workflow to provide customers with the ability to clip Live content and create VOD assets. Workflows orchestrated using AWS Simple Workflow.
Worked on creating state machines using aws step functions to support account creations, asset deletions, image ingestion.
Took the lead on migrating existing scala Video Ingestion workflows to new state machines written in go lang and successfully migrated half of them in a production environment running in kubernetes.
Actively building microservices in GO for various ingestion modules including multi language audio tracks, images, HEVC, frame accurate ad insertion and many more.
Created a notification service from scratch that supports sending callbacks to and from all the other services that our services interact with.
Expectations
Currently I am looking for a role that will not only help me grow my career but make me a better engineer as well. I am looking for a position that will help facilitate that and allow me to learn more about a completely different business domain as well.
