Sales Director

Summary

>Development of overall company sales strategy and long term plans to achieve revenue objectives across the range of industries, channels, geographies, and product lines
>Maximize sales by leveraging existing and future production capacity to secure business from new and existing customers in both Canada and the US
>Participate in the new project screening process to ensure proper prioritization and selection of new agency opportunities and services
>Responsible for customer price management including quoting on new project bid opportunities
>Responsible for the communication and negotiation of price changes with customers
>Development of innovative consultative sales and lead generation processes to facilitate business expansion
>Interviewed, onboarded, and mentored 40+ sales and marketing professionals and provided training on organizational strategies, business development, and pipeline management
>Management of sales teams using a hybrid metrics-based coaching approach
>Participation in joint sales activities to assist in the navigation of prospects' decision-making process
>Conduct weekly 1:1 pipeline challenges and quarterly reviews
>Negotiate reseller and distribution programs with 3rd-party service providers
>Average deal size of $56,000 with average deal rate of 54 per year (deal size determined by product/service)

Expectations

I'd like to work with an organization with a sales team needing an accomplished veteran sales director who can bring process and discipline. The ability to hire/fire is a must. Looking for a company with an established sales pipeline and customer base. Ideally at least 30% revenue from new accounts each year.
