Summary

I am a grad student at Stevens Institute of Technology pursuing my Masters in Machine Learning. I have a professional experience of over 6 years as a Software engineer which started with Mindtree in March 2015. Java Developer, UI Developer, Performance Engineer were some of the many roles that I worked as in the organization during my time of 4 years with it. My knowledge and curiosity to learn things made me one of the first fully qualified SDETs(Software Development Engineer in Test - Coined by Microsoft) in the organization. I joined Accenture as an Application Development Senior Analyst(Senior Java Dev) in April 2019 and worked with a major financial client till October 2020.

After that, I started working on a social watching platform Friday.Social with a friend of mine. We launched a chrome extension Friday.Social which helps users watch movies or series on OTT platforms together with a synchonized playback.

My interest in Machine learning started when I attended a conference where an organization was demonstrating on how they were using AI & ML to identify the numbers on registration plates of vehicles and how they were trying to analyze the gaps in a cookie manufacturing process. So, I began exploring through Springboard's AI & ML program which wasn't sufficient. Hence I joined my Masters in Machine Learning at Stevens.

The technologies I've had experience of so far are Java, Python, Javascript(React.js and D3.js), Python modules(Numpy & Pandas), Scikit learn library for Machine learning, tensor flow, PyTorch.

Outside my work hours, I like to play badminton and read fiction novels, enjoy exploring new places and going on treks.

A job where I can use my skills to provide meaningful solutions to problems. Explore relevant industry areas, discover and address new problems with creative solutions and provide simple and easy solutions to complex problems.
