I am an Imaging Lead in the Digital Medicine & Translational Imaging group at Pfizer. I am interested in machine learning, drug R&D and clinical imaging.
I received a BSc in Chemistry from Nankai University, an MS in Computer Science (specialization in machine learning) from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a PhD in MRI Biophysics from Washington University in St. Louis. Following PhD, I did my postdoctoral research on cardiovascular imaging at Harvard Medical School. Before I joined Pfizer in 2019, I worked as a Study Director at Invicro.
I currently lead the development and deployment of novel AI/ML-based diagnostic/prognostic algorithms in the DMTI group at Pfizer. We recently developed a fully automated system for analyzing echocardiography images/videos. This project has won Pfizers Breakthrough Science & Innovation award in 2021, the highest honor that can be bestowed to an R&D colleague.


- Develop & deploy AI/ML techniques to answer questions including: 1) who is the right patient? 2) what's the right dose? 3) whether the drug has a disease-modifying effect?
- Drive solutions to clinical trial inefficiency, rising cost of drug development, and fragmented data silos
- Collaborate with internal and external groups
