Summary

Hi! I'm a front-end developer focusing on React frameworks but always keen in learn about upcoming technologies.

I've been in the industry for 3 years, first working as a TA at a coding bootcamp and most recently completing 2 years working on the tech team of a business development agency. I specialized in React and React Native (Expo) - my primary project was working on Canada's vaccination passport app (Vaxicode), and I also assisted in various CMS projects using Next.js, Strapi, and Apostrophe CMS.

Prior to being a dev, I worked in satellite manufacturing as a component engineer and spent 2 years working at a robotics startup on both the technical and non-technical side.

In my spare time I'm an active musician, playing the bass guitar with anyone who likes to play! I also work on personal development projects, ranging from React Native apps for sharing alarm clock music with my friends to building websites for bands that I play in.

Expectations

Until end of March 2023 I'm traveling throughout Australia (I'm on a working holiday visa), and so am looking for contract/ remote work. Currently I am based in Melbourne, but more than happy to have a reason to visit other cities and meet more great people.
