Back End Engineer
Summary
I worked at Vimeo as a Full Stack Web Engineer. Ruby on Rails was used for the backend. I also did unit testing of all code I wrote, using RSpec and Capybara. Apart from RoR, I have also explored (and made some projects) using the Node.js ecosystem (viz Express.js, Mongoose).
Expectations
I wish to work on applications whose backend is monolithic(but challenging), or microservices based/distributed where I get to learn new skills and polish existing ones. I also wish to do more engineering/design (than present), in addition to programming/coding.
