Avionics Systems Engineer
Summary
14+ years of experience in Aerospace/Defense industry as an Avionics system/software engineer
8+ years of experience in application development (DAL A, B), testing and validation as per DO-178B/C guidelines
7+ years of experience in avionics systems engineering activities including development, integration and testing
Experience in Model based development using IBM Rhapsody, MATLAB/Simulink and SCADE Display
Experience in performing model/code/requirements/system architectural reviews related to the certification
Familiarity with flight displays, autopilots, flight management systems, CNS systems, pilot interfaces and other aircraft systems for military and commercial aircrafts
Experience in open system architecture, avionics busses (ARINC 429, AFDX and MIL-STD-1553B)
Experience in developing, modifying, testing and integrating software and supporting that software through full-scale development and certification onto the aircraft
Experience in ARP-4754A and system safety assessment methods (ARP-4761)
Experience in designing and developing simulation code for Pro Line 4, 21 and Fusion Avionics systems for Bombardier full flight simulators Challenger 300, 604, 605 and C-Series
Experience in IMA based avionics systems architectures and ICD development
System Integration, testing and certification of various avionics on several fighter aircrafts
Acceptance Tests Procedure development for avionics equipment certification on integration rig and aircraft so as to test all aspects of the Operational Flight Program (OFP)
